A fraudulent e-mail purporting to be from CUETS Financial urges recipients to open an attachment which solicits sensitive personal and financial information. A variation of this e-mail may ask you to click a link whcih would then solicit similar information. It is best practice to REMEMBER TO DELETE UNSOLICITED E-MAIL WITHOUT OPENING! We will never ask for sensitive information in this manner.

We also have had reports that members are being phoned by fraudsters advising that your computer has been compromised and that they can fix the problem by allowing them access to your computer by giving out your IP Address and other confidential information.

This is a SCAM! At the end of the conversation they will ask for your CREDIT CARD number! Think of your computer as the digital equivalent of your wallet. You wouldn't give your wallet to someone you don't know. DON'T GIVE OUT ANY INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR COMPUTER TO SOMEONE EITHER.
